Your assessment outcome matters!
Imagine for a moment taking your car in to a shop to get it diagnosed for possible work to be done. Wouldn’t you want that assessment to be accurate, to be fair, and to have an outcome that you can easily understand? You wouldn't want a shop saying you need work you don't need, but, at the same time, you wouldn't want a shop saying your car is just fine if there are risks that need to be addressed. You want an assessment that is correct.
For a drug and alcohol assessment, you equally want the right assessment, especially when you keep in mind that, whatever treatment the assessment recommends, the court is likely to uphold and enforce it. Once an assessment is submitted, it's not often easy to get a second opinion.

If you are recommended for treatment, it matters very much where you get your treatment done. Beyond financial costs, there are the often hidden costs of how an agency treats you. Being non-complied for such petty reasons as a single missed appointment, being a few minutes late to class or being a day behind with a payment can be costly -- and could even land you in jail. You want FAIR treatment and a treatment program that HELPS -- you don't want an agency that makes difficulties into impossibilities.
